Affiliate Disclosure

Many of the links on BikePartPicker.net are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link to a retailer and buy something, we may receive a commission from that retailer or from the affiliate network that connects us to them, at no extra cost to you.

We say so up front: a short disclosure appears next to the retailer links on every page that carries them, under the offers table on part and bundle pages and under the heading on the build views, and each retailer link is labelled as an affiliate link at the point you click it. Browse and search pages show a price without linking out to the retailer, so they carry no affiliate link and no notice. This disclosure is made in line with the UK CMA / ASA rules on identifying advertising, the US FTC endorsement guidelines, and the codes of conduct of the affiliate networks we work with.

Networks and retailers we earn from

The retailers we currently link to, and the affiliate network each relationship runs through, are:

Panda Podium is not an affiliate network: it is a single US retailer that runs its own affiliate programme, which we joined directly. Awin is a network, and the four UK retailers above are reached through it.

Because these relationships change, this list is the definitive one: if a retailer appears on the site and is not named here, treat the link as an affiliate link anyway and tell us so we can correct the page.

Retailers we do not earn from

We also list prices from Merlin Cycles (United Kingdom), and we earn nothing from them. There is no affiliate relationship in place, so those links go straight to merlincycles.com with no tracking redirect and no commission to us. We include them because leaving a cheaper price out to protect our own revenue would defeat the point of a price comparison.

If that changes we will move Merlin into the table above before any affiliate link goes live, not after.

Where our links send you

We never hide, cloak, or disguise where a link goes. Every outbound link names the retailer it leads to, opens in a new tab, and is marked up as a sponsored link (rel="sponsored nofollow") so search engines treat it as advertising.

Affiliate links pass through the network’s tracking redirect (for example awin1.comfor Awin retailers) before landing on the retailer’s own product page. That redirect is how the commission is attributed; it does not change the destination, the product, or the price. Links to retailers we do not earn from carry no redirect at all.

Why we use affiliate links

The commissions we earn pay for the hosting, the data pipeline that keeps prices and stock current, and the compatibility tooling. They also let us keep the site free, with no paywall and no charge for listing a product.

Our commitment

Commission never buys placement. We rank offers by total price and availability, not by how much a retailer pays us, so the cheapest in-stock option is the one we surface first. Compatibility results, specifications, and warnings are produced from the technical data alone and are unaffected by whether a part is sold by a partner retailer. Retailers cannot pay to be added, promoted, or to have a warning removed.

How this affects you

Affiliate links never change the price you pay. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket, and you are always free to go to any retailer directly instead of using our links.

Price and availability accuracy

Prices, stock levels, and shipping costs change frequently and can vary by country. We refresh retailer data regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every figure on the site is correct at the exact moment you click through. Always confirm the final price, currency, and delivery details on the retailer’s own checkout page before completing a purchase.
