Cycling Tools & Calculators

A growing collection of free, physics-based tools to help you train smarter, ride faster, and choose the right components.

Why use our calculators?

Every tool here is built on real physics and drivetrain maths rather than rules of thumb, so the numbers you get are ones you can actually plan around. The power calculator uses aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, and rider size to estimate the wattage needed to hold a given speed, which is useful for setting realistic training targets or sanity-checking a new wheel or position. The gear ratio calculator lets you compare two drivetrains side by side — chainrings, cassette range, cadence, and resulting speed — so you can see exactly how a setup will climb and how fast you can spin out before you buy.

The tools are completely free, work on any device, and require no sign-up. We add new calculators regularly, so check back as your build and training questions evolve.
